Educational Qualifications

To be eligible for the vacancy, Applicants are required to possess some educational qualifications as mentioned below:

• JRF Mechanical Engineering: B.Tech/B.E with First Class in Mechanical Engg. from a University recognized by UGC with a valid GATE score (Paper code ME) OR M.E/M.Tech with First Class in Mechanical Engg. from a University recognized by UGC and B.Tech/B.E (Mechanical Engg.) with First Class from a University recognized by UGC.
• JRF Aeronautics/Aeronautical Engineering: B.Tech/B.E with First Class in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engg. from a University recognized by UGC with a valid GATE score (Paper code: AE) OR M.E/M.Tech with First Class in Aeronautical Aerospace Engg. from a University recognized by UGC and B.Tech/B.E (Aeronautical/Aerospace Engg.) with First Class from a University recognized by UGC.

Age Limit

The Applicants are required to follow the age limit mentioned below during the recruitment process:

• There is an upper age limit of 28 Years for the applicants preparing for the exam.
• However, there will be an extra age relaxation of 05 Years for SC/ST candidates and 03 Years for the OBC candidates.
• The Age of the candidate will be calculated from 14.06.2021.

Salary

The selected candidates will be given an impressive package of Rs.31,000/- Per Month with House Rent Allowance (HRA) as their salary.

Selection Process

First, the candidates will be shortlisted according to the GATE score and the percentage of marks obtained in the degree pursued. Then, an Interview will be conducted by the authorities of the Defence Research and Development Organization.
