Educational Qualifications

To be eligible for the vacancy, Applicants are required to possess some educational qualifications as mentioned below:

Young Professional: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Related Sciences/Engineering/Technology from a recognized University along with the Master’s Degree in the above subjects.
Project Scientist: Ph.D. (Life Science) are suitable for the post with a minimum of 05 Years experience after Ph.D. in Molecular Techniques and Bio-informatics, Experience in cloning and Bio-chemical analysis, At least 5 papers must be published in a peer-reviewed journal with more than 2 impact factor and Post Doc experience.
Project Assistant: A Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Computer Science from a recognized University with a Master’s degree in the above subjects.

Age Limit

The Applicants are required to follow the age limit mentioned below during the recruitment process:

There is an upper age limit of 35 Years for the male applicants preparing for the exam.
Whereas the upper Age limit for the female candidates will be 40 Years.
However, there will be some extra age relaxation according to the rules.

Selection Process

The selection of the candidates will be based on an Interview conducted by the authorities of the ICAR- National Research Centre for Banana.
