Educational Qualifications
To be eligible for the vacancy, Applicants are required to possess some educational qualifications for Soldiers as mentioned below:
- Soldier – General Duty (All Arms): Class 10th or Matric pass with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For Boards following grading system of D Grade (33%-40%) in individual subjects or the equivalent of grade which comprises 33% and overall gross in C2 grade or equivalent corresponding to 45% in aggregate. FOR GORKHAS (NEPALESE AND INDIAN) Class 10th Pass is required.
- Soldier – Technical: 12th Class Passed/Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English with 50% marks in aggregate and a minimum of 40% in each subject.
- Soldier – Nursing Assistant (AMC): 12th Class Passed/Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and a minimum of 40% in each subject. OR 10+2/Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.
- Soldier – Clerk/Store Keeper Technical: 12th Class Passed/Intermediate Exam Pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, and Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and a minimum of 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/Accounts/Book Keeping in Class 12th is compulsory.
Age Limit
The Applicants are required to follow the age limit mentioned below during the recruitment process:
- There is a lower age limit of 17 Years & 6 Months for the applicants preparing for the vacancy.
- Whereas the Upper Age limit for the candidates will be 23 Years.
- However, there will be extra age relaxation up to 30 years only for the Widows of Ex-Serviceman.
- The Age of the candidate will be calculated from the date of entering the training.
