Educational Qualifications

To be eligible for the vacancy, Applicants are required to possess some educational qualifications as mentioned below:

Senior Scientist & Head: Doctoral degree in relevant subject including relevant basis science with 08 Years experience in the relevant subject as Scientist/Lecture/Extension Specialist or in any other equivalent position.
Subject Matter Specialist (Plant Protection): Master’s degree in any branch or Plant Protection or equivalent qualification from a recognized University of India.
Subject Matter Specialist (Home Science): M.Sc. in any branch of Home Science or equivalent qualification from a recognized University of India.
Supporting Staff: Matriculation/ITI Course pass or any other equivalent education.

Application Fees

The applicants are required to submit the application fee according to their categories as mentioned below:

The SC/ST category applicants are required to pay Rs.250/-.
Whereas the General category applicants are required to pay Rs.500/- as their application fee.

Age Limit

The Applicants are required to follow the age limit mentioned below during the recruitment process:

The upper age limit for the vacancy of Senior Scientist & Head and Subject Matter Specialist is 47 Years.
Whereas the upper age limit for the Supporting Staff vacancy is 35 Years.
However, there might be some extra age relaxation according to the rules.
The age calculation will be done from 27.04.2021.

Selection Process

The selection of the candidates will be based on an Interview conducted by the authorities of the Indian Railway Finance Corporation.
