Educational Qualifications

To be eligible for the vacancy, Applicants are required to possess some educational qualifications as mentioned below:

The applicant must have a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in a relevant subject from a recognized University of India, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. A relaxation of 5% will be given to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD candidates.
Also, even if the applicant has fulfilled the above mentioned qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or any other similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
The Ph.D degree has been obtained from a foreign university/institution with a ranking among top 500 in the World University Ranking by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), the Times Higher Education (THE) or the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Application Fees

The applicants are required to submit the application fee according to their categories as mentioned below:

The PWD and SC/ST of Odisha category applicants don’t have to pay any amount for the application.
Whereas the any other category applicants are required to pay Rs.400/- as their application fee which is non-refundable as well as non-adjustable.

Age Limit

The Applicants are required to follow the age limit mentioned below during the recruitment process:

There is a lower age limit of 21 Years for the applicants preparing for the exam.
Whereas there is No upper Age limit for the candidates.
However, there will be some extra age relaxation according to the rules.
The Age of the candidate will be calculated from 01.01.2021
