Educational Qualifications

To be eligible for the vacancy, Applicants are required to possess some educational qualifications as mentioned below:

Junior Draughting Officer in Highways Department: A Diploma in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from any University or Institution recognized by the State Board of Technical Education and Training of the concerned State Government.
Junior Draughting Officer in Public Works Department: A Diploma in Civil Engineering recognized by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu or its equivalent qualification recognized by the Director-General of Employment and Training, Government of India, or by the All India Council for Technical Education.
Junior Technical Assistant in Handlooms & Textiles: The applicant must possess minimum General Educational Qualification and a Diploma in Handloom Technology obtained from the Indian Institute of Handloom Technology, Salem or Varanasi or from any other recognized Institute of Handloom Technology.
Junior Engineer Fisheries Department: The applicant must possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering. Provided that other conditions being similar, the choice shall be given to those who have experienced apprenticeship training for a period of not less than one year under the Government of India Schemes or State Government apprenticeship training scheme.

Application Fees

All the applicants are required to submit the application fee as mentioned below:

One-Time registration fee of Rs.150/-.
Examination Fee of Rs.100/-.

Age Limit

The Applicants are required to follow the age limit mentioned below during the recruitment process:

There is a lower age limit of 18 Years for the applicants preparing for the exam.
Whereas the Upper Age limit for the candidates will be 35 Years.
However, there will be some extra age relaxation according to the rules.
The Age of the candidate will be calculated from 01.07.2021

Salary

The selected candidates will be given an impressive package from Rs.35,400/- to Rs.1,12,400/- Per Month as their salaries according to their posts.

Selection Process

The selection of the candidates will be based on 02 Written Tests and Certificate Verifications conducted by the authorities of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission.
