Educational Qualifications

To be eligible for the vacancy, Applicants are required to possess some educational qualifications as mentioned below:

Professor: An experience of teaching for a minimum period of 10 Years after completion of Post Graduation, which shall include 03 Years experience as Reader or Associate Professor and 04 Years experience as Assistant Professor in the required specialty in a recognized Post Graduate Medical College and three years as Senior Resident/Registrar/Lecturer/Demonstrator/Tutor or equivalent or higher teaching faculty posts in the concerned specialty in a recognized Medical College.
Associate Professor: Experience in teaching for a minimum period of 07 Years after completion of Post Graduation, which shall include 04 Years experience as Assistant Professor in the concerned specialty in recognized Post Graduate Advt. No. 06 of 2021 Medical College and 03 Years as a Senior Resident/Registrar/Lecturer/Demonstrator/Tutor or equivalent or higher teaching faculty posts in the concerned specialty in a recognized Medical College.
Assistant Professor: Experience of teaching for a minimum period of 03 Years as Senior Resident or Registrar or Lecturer or Demonstrator or Tutor or equivalent or higher teaching faculty posts in the concerned specialty in a recognized Medical College. The candidates that have completed super-specialty (DM/M.Ch) in the required specialty shall be directly eligible for post-Assistant Professor
Director: MD (Radiotherapy) from a recognized Institution by National Medical Commission of India, Professor with a minimum of 05 Years teaching experience along with headship of a Medical College/Department and Professor (Retd) in the relevant stream.
The Applicants are requested to have a knowledge of the Punjabi Language.

All the candidates are required to pay Rs.1770/- (Fee Rs.1500/- + GST Rs.270/- @ 18%) as their application fee.
Whereas the SC category applicants are required to pay Rs.885/- (Fee Rs.750/- +GST Rs.135/- @ 18%) as their application fee.

Associate Professor: 45 Years
Assistant Professor: 40 Years
